Consider all multi-modal travel options in your trip planning. The seminar site is served by several CapMetro routes and dedicated bicycle lanes along Barton Springs Road. Bicycle parking is available in the Austin Energy parking garage and free car parking is available at Palmer Events Center. Many restaurants are within walking distance - feel free to bring your lunch.

Community Mobility

Rapid development and population growth in Austin and the surrounding region highlight the lack of plentiful public transportation options serving the area. This seminar will take a closer look at two new plans to offer expanded transportation options, especially to those parts of the city and county that are historically underserved.

  • Jeff Travillion, Travis County Commissioner, Travis County
