The design of buildings, neighborhoods and cities offers many opportunities to benefit human health. This seminar will explore design features that foster healthy communities. Speakers will discuss Austin's Mueller neighborhood, and the impact of walkable community design on residents' physical activity and social interactions.

Attendance

Seminars are open to building professionals and other invited guests. RSVP is encouraged. Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis. The seminars are approved for AIA Learning Units and GBCI CE Hours for LEED professionals. Certificates of Completion are provided for self-reporting.
